Cuban Cigars Sancho Panza Brand:
Like some other great Habano brands such as Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta, Sancho Panza takes it name from the masterpiece of world literature. Within Don Quixote, the famous 17th Century Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes, it was Sancho Panza who served the errant dark night as his faithful squire. Call him by his name was first used for a Habano within 1848 and since then it has loved a reputation for quality among discerning smokers. The range today contains an example of the largest size of Habano available, a 235mm (9 ¼ inch) Gran Corona, which has the simple name of Sancho.
Sancho Panza is using a medium-bodied blend of tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region, all sizes are "totalmente a mano, tripa larga" - totally hand made, long filler.
